Cheesesteak Sandwiches
These cheesesteak sandwiches are topped with our creamy Avocado Hot Sauce. The flavor combination is firery perfection!

Ingredients
FOR MEAT
- 1 1/2 pounds shaved beef, from the meat counter
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon butter
FOR VEGETABLES
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced thin
- 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced thin
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
FOR SANDWICH
- 4 hoagie rolls, sliced 3/4 through
- 3-4 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1/3 cup HERDEZ® Avocado Hot Sauce
Directions
- Season beef with salt, pepper and garlic powder.
- Heat skillet to medium-high heat, add butter, then beef
- Cook 8-10 minutes, stirring every minute or two.
- Remove beef and set aside.
- In same skillet, add green and yellow peppers, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Cook on medium-high heat for 2 minutes.
- Add onions to skillet, cook additional 5-6 minutes.
- Lay hoagie rolls open-faced on sheet pan and spread mayonnaise on each roll.
- Add beef and peppers to rolls.
- Top with HERDEZ® Avocado Hot Sauce and cheese.
- Broil on high for 2-3 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
